Cyber safety
Cyber safety program ThinkUKnow, launched by Minister for Home Affairs Brendan O'Connor, is part of the Federal Government’s $125.8 million cyber safety plan.
“ThinkUKnow helps the guardians of young people understand the safety risks that the online environment can present to children and young people,” Mr O’Connor said.
On 19 July 2010 the Caretaker Conventions came into effect, with an election to be held on 21 August 2010. During the Caretaker period, no new material will be available on this site unless it relates to administrative or operational matters. Election-related material issued by the Minister for Home Affairs will be available from the Australian Labor Party website, which is not maintained or funded by the Commonwealth of Australia.
